We had a great time last time in Canada, so we are going to give it a try again...
We fly through the border, no search or anything. Get to the location and most the teams are allready there so getting the trailer in is a bit of a challenge. We get it in no prob and get set up, we have a chefs choice and sauce comp tonight. We get the ribeyes done and the look and taste great, the dump some sauce in the cups and be done. We are excited to see how the sauce does because I have never entered it in any sort of comp.
The bbq goes OK, we have trouble getting the meat thawed out in time and it effected the big meats. Come awards we are very excited to announce that my orignal sweet sauce won first place! Then the rest is straight down hill as we get no more calls and finsh in the bottom third. Bit of a shocker, but we are in an unfamiliar land... Oh well, theres allways next time.
